LOOP GAROU is a single player adventure game about discovering who is the true monster of this repeating tale of mystery and murder. The Player takes on the role of Loupe Garou, noted Detective in charge of uncovering the plot to kill Dr. Roy Chartreux, a visionary inventor who plans to leave his fortune to one of four unlikely candidates. Use your wits, curiosity, and the ANACHRONOMETER to uncover the truth one Loop at a time.
Currently, this demo features a sample of what an ACT in the full game would entail. Choose your actions wisely to positively affect the outcome of the current four guests, with bonus art as a reward! Can you appease everyone in a single Loop?
Features:
- Take control of Loupe Garou, Detective extraordinaire!
- Explore hand crafted isometric maps, in all their pixelish glory.
- Converse with a colorful cast of deceptive Guests and figure out how to appease each one!
- Certain interactions will advance time. You have four turns to appease everyone. Choose wisely.
- If you run out of time, you can always Loop and try again. No pressure gaming!

The style of this game just oozes off the screen, it's a genuinely gorgeous artstyle! I enjoyed the gameplay but didn't really feel there was any pressure as no matter how many times I looped, Roy never seemed to be in harms way, and I found it hard to know what to do in order to progress. Would love to see more of this game, hopefully with more bellies and mechanics in the future! Great stuff :)
Like the comment below, I've also been experiencing a black screen when trying to play. A shame since I really wanted to give this one a try!
When I try running the game all I get is a black screen... any idea how to fix this?
We've had a few reports of this, but haven't been able to replicate the issue. If you could tell us what operating system you are using (Windows 7, 10, 11, etc), that may help narrow down the issue. Do you hear sound as well? Thanks!

I honestly adore how simple yet clever the gameplay is, and the characterization is simply incredible too. The fact that so many details spoken by the characters are ridden with bias is quite refreshing, and they're all just fun to interact with, even if it's in a limited capacity. The visuals are also stunning too, every pixel is just masterfully used and every design fits the theme so well. All in all, fantastic work, and I honestly can't wait for the full game, whenever that is to come out.
